Product Overview

The Reptilia ROF Riser is a 10mm spacer plate for the Trijicon RMR & SRO, fitting between a Reptilia ROF mount and the red dot to lift the optic clear of tall turrets and large scope bells.

10mm of clearance, 16.3 g of aluminium. The tall plate, for the scopes that need it.

A ROF mount carries the red dot close to the scope on purpose, and on most builds that is exactly right. Fit a scope with a large objective bell or a genuinely tall body, though, and the dot can end up crowded by the scope or fouled by a turret cap. The riser is Reptilia's answer: an add-on plate that raises the optic on the ROF by a measured amount without changing anything else about the mount.

It is machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminium, finished in MIL-STD Type III hardcoat anodising, and adds 16.3 g (0.6 oz). The 10mm plate offsets the optic by roughly 0.4 in — this is the one to reach for when the 2.5mm plate is not enough, typically on a 56mm objective or a scope sitting high in tall rings. Made in the USA.

Why shooters choose the ROF Riser

  • 10mm of lift — roughly 0.4 in of offset, for large objective bells and tall scope bodies
  • Add-on plate — works with the ROF mount you already own, no need to change the mount
  • Billet 7075-T6 aluminium — hardcoat anodised, 16.3 g (0.6 oz)
  • One footprint — cut for the Trijicon RMR & SRO pattern, so the optic beds flat and the screws land square
  • Two finishes — Black and Flat Dark Earth Anodized, to match the mount underneath

What the ROF Riser fits

Fits Trijicon RMR and SRO, plus Holosun HS407, HE407, HS507, HE507 and HE508 series. The riser mounts to a Reptilia ROF mount rather than to a scope ring, so it is not tied to a ring diameter — it works the same on a 30mm, 34mm or 35mm ROF as long as that ROF is cut for the RMR & SRO footprint. It is not a Picatinny riser and it will not fit an Aimpoint Micro or an Aimpoint ACRO ROF, because those mounts use a different bolt pattern. This listing is the 10mm height; the subtler plate is the 2.5mm ROF Riser, which Reptilia make in Black only.

Which ROF mount does it sit on

Any Reptilia ROF cut for the Trijicon RMR & SRO footprint. That includes the 12 o'clock 30mm ROF-90, 34mm ROF-90 and 35mm ROF-90, and the 45° 30mm ROF-45 and 34mm ROF-45. Measure the clearance you actually need before choosing a height, because a riser taller than necessary lifts the dot further from the scope's centreline.

Product Questions

Do I need a riser at all?
Most builds do not. The riser exists for scopes with a large objective bell or tall tactical turrets, where the red dot on the ROF ends up fouled or crowded by the scope body. Fit the ROF first, and add a riser only if you actually have a clearance problem.
Will it fit my ROF mount?
It fits any Reptilia ROF cut for the Trijicon RMR and SRO footprint, whatever the ring diameter of that mount — 30mm, 34mm and 35mm ROF mounts all take the same riser. It will not fit an Aimpoint Micro or Aimpoint ACRO ROF, because those use a different bolt pattern.
Should I take 10mm or 2.5mm?
10mm gives roughly 0.4 in of lift and is the one for a 56mm objective or a scope sitting high in tall rings. The 2.5mm riser offsets by 0.1 in and is usually enough just to clear a turret cap. Measure the gap before choosing, because a riser taller than you need raises the dot away from the scope's centreline.
Which colour should I choose?
Black and Flat Dark Earth Anodized are both offered at this height, in the same billet 7075-T6 aluminium with the same MIL-STD Type III hardcoat anodising. Pick whichever matches the ROF mount underneath it. Note that the 2.5mm plate is made in Black only.
How will it arrive?
Optic mounts and risers are sent from the United Kingdom with £5 tracked UK delivery in 7–10 business days, and you'll get tracking by email when it ships. If a part turns out to be the wrong fit, see our returns policy or contact us and we'll help sort it.
