The Holosun SCS-VP9-GR is a 1x enclosed pistol green dot sight that mounts directly to H&K VP9 optics-ready slides, powered by an internal rechargeable cell that charges from ambient light.
There is no battery tray, because there is no battery to buy. The Solar Charging Sight system keeps the internal cell topped up from the light around it, which removes the one piece of maintenance most pistol optics still demand.
The reticle is Holosun's Multi-Reticle System in green: a 2 MOA dot on its own, a 32 MOA circle on its own, or the two together as a circle-dot, shown through a sealed 0.77 x 0.58 in window. The housing is 7075-T6 aluminium at 1.35 oz, rated IP67 and tested to 5000G, and Holosun rate the sight at 20,000 hours.
Brightness is handled automatically, with a manual override mode available, so the sight carries no permanent brightness buttons to knock. Adjustment is 1 MOA per click with 50 MOA of travel each way, and the optic is parallax-free. It is cut for one slide pattern and one only, so it is not an RMR or RMSc footprint optic and will not transfer to a different host.
