The Holosun HS507COMP is a 1x open reflex competition pistol sight on the Trijicon RMR footprint, carrying the Competition Reticle System in red behind a 1.1 x 0.87 in window.
The reticle is sized to the stage rather than fixed at purchase. A 2 MOA dot when the standard is tight, a 32 MOA circle when the targets are close and the timer is the only judge, chosen on the optic without tools.
Between those two extremes sit 8 and 20 MOA circles, and the window is deliberately larger than a standard 507 so the housing stops intruding on a fast draw or a transition. The body is 7075-T6 aluminium in a hard anodised black finish, rated IP67 and weighing 1.7 oz. Adjustment is 1 MOA per click with 30 MOA of travel each way, and the sight is parallax-free.
Twelve brightness levels divide into eight for daylight and four that work behind night vision. A CR1632 sits in a side-loading tray so a cell change never costs a zero, Shake Awake supports the 50,000-hour rating, and Lock Mode holds the settings once the stage is set so nothing gets nudged in a range bag. There is no solar panel on this model, which is one of the things that separates it from the ProMax.
