The Holosun HS507C-X3-RD is a 1x open-emitter pistol red dot on the Trijicon RMR footprint, carrying the Multi-Reticle System in a 7075-T6 aluminium housing.
The X3 change that matters is where the light sensor points. Facing forward, automatic brightness is set by the light falling on the target rather than the light behind your head — which is the situation that used to leave the dot washed out at exactly the wrong moment.
Holosun list a 0.91 x 0.67in window in a body measuring 1.78 x 1.31 x 1.1in and weighing 1.55 oz, rated IP67. The reticle offers a 2 MOA dot, a 32 MOA circle or both together, across 12 brightness settings — eight daylight and four night-vision compatible — with 1 MOA clicks and ±50 MOA of adjustment.
