Gold exists for the targets a red dot disappears into. Against red-painted steel and orange plates, a warm amber aiming point stays a separate thing rather than blending in.
The body is hard anodised 7075-T6 aluminium, 1.8 x 1.3 x 1.3 in and 1.7 oz, rated IP67 and tested to 5000G.
