The Holosun HS407COMP, part HS407COMP-RD-6, is a 1x open-emitter competition sight on the Trijicon RMR footprint with a single fixed 6 MOA red dot.
Nothing to select, nothing to cycle through. A bold dot in a big window, which under a timer is worth more than a menu of reticles.
The window measures 1.1 x 0.87 in and the whole sight is 1.8 x 1.3 x 1.3 in at 1.7 oz, in 7075-T6 aluminium with a hard anodised finish, rated IP67 for water and dust and tested to 5000G. A CR1632 cell in a side-loading tray gives up to 50,000 hours at setting 6, and Shake Awake restores the last brightness used the moment the gun moves.
Twelve brightness settings cover it, eight for daylight and four for night vision, adjusting in 1 MOA clicks with plus or minus 30 MOA of travel. It is aimed squarely at close-range competition work where the draw and the first sight picture decide the stage. Two limits worth stating: there is no solar backup on this model, and the large competition body is not a concealment optic — it is built to be seen through quickly, not carried discreetly.
