The Holosun HM6X is a fixed 6x magnifier on a quick-detach flip-to-side mount, made to sit behind a red dot or holographic sight and give the longest reach in the Holosun magnifier range.
Six times is a lot to ask of a magnifier that lives behind a red dot. In return you get detail at distances where a 3x is still guessing, and in exchange you accept a tighter eye box.
The housing is 7075-T6 aluminium anodised black, nitrogen-purged against fogging and rated IP67 for water and dust. It is 4.33 in long, 1.8 in high and 2.5 in deep, weighs 11.6 oz, and gives 65 mm of eye relief with a 3.7 degree field of view and a 4.6 mm exit pupil. The dioptre adjusts through plus or minus 3 dioptres, and windage and elevation adjustment lets you bring the magnified dot back to the centre of the image.
Flipped in, the sight picture is magnified six times; pushed aside, the optic is back at 1x with nothing in the way. The mount is quick-detach and ships with a spacer, so it can be set for absolute or lower 1/3 co-witness to match whatever sight is in front of it. Two honest points: the magnifier has no reticle of its own, so the dot is magnified six times along with the target, and head position matters far more at 6x than it does at 3x.

What the HM6X fits
It works behind most red dot and holographic sights provided the two share a mount height, and there has to be rail behind the sight for the body and the flip mechanism.
