The Holosun HM3X Micro is a 3x magnifier on an ambidextrous flip-to-side quick-detach mount, in a shortened housing measuring 2.76 × 2.44 × 1.81 in (70 × 62 × 46 mm).
Same 3x reach as the full-size HM3X, in a body that gives back rail space and 8.47 oz (240 g) is all it asks of the rifle.
The housing is 7075 T6 aluminium, nitrogen purged against internal fogging and rated IP67 for dust and water. Optically it gives a 7.1 mm exit pupil, 67 mm (2.64 in) of eye relief and a 7 degree field of view, with ±3 dioptre of focus adjustment for your eye. The supplied spacer sets the mount to 1.41in for absolute co-witness or 1.63in for lower 1/3.
A magnifier earns its place on a rifle that lives at 1x and needs reach occasionally rather than constantly. Flipped in, the sight's own dot is magnified — the magnifier has no reticle and changes nothing about zero. Flipped out, it clears the sight picture entirely, and because the mount is ambidextrous it can be set to swing left or right to suit the shooter. What it cannot do is help a sight that is at the wrong height: match the 1.41in or 1.63in setting to the optic in front of it or the dot will sit off-centre in the view.

What the HM3X Micro fits
