The Holosun EPS Gold Dot Sight (EPS-GD-6) is a full-size 1x enclosed-emitter pistol optic running a fixed 6 MOA gold dot at 590nm on the Holosun K footprint.
Gold is the reason this version exists. The 590nm emitter sits where many eyes — particularly astigmatic ones — resolve a cleaner, rounder point than they get from red.
The housing is 7075-T6 aluminium rated IPX8 and tested to 5000G, measuring 1.63 x 1.19 x 0.99 in and weighing 1.4 oz. The window is 0.90 x 0.63 in, sat behind an aspheric lens on a deliberately low deck so irons still show through it. A CR1620 loads from the side for up to 50,000 hours, Shake Awake sleeps the dot when the pistol is still and Lock Mode freezes the buttons. Adjustment is 1.5 MOA per click with 30 MOA of travel each way, across 8 daylight and 4 night-vision settings.
The enclosed window is what separates this from an open reflex sight: lint from a holster, rain and dust cannot settle on the emitter. The 6 MOA dot is the fast one rather than the precise one, covering about 6 in at 100 yards, so choose the 2 MOA version if your shooting is deliberate rather than quick. Note the click value too — 1.5 MOA steps zero quickly but do not fine-tune the way a 1 MOA click does.
