The Holosun AEMS CORE X2 in green, part number AEMS-CORE-X2-GR, is an enclosed-emitter 1x rifle sight with a single 2 MOA green dot behind a 1.1 x 0.87 in (28 x 22 mm) window.
CORE means exactly one reticle and no solar panel: there is nothing to cycle through and nothing to set, which is the reason a lot of shooters pick it over the fuller-featured models in the range.
The emitter sits sealed inside the housing rather than facing the weather, so rain, mud and dust cannot land on it and blank the dot. Holosun uses a durable aluminium housing with an MAO finish rated IP67 and tested to 1000G, and quotes 4.1 oz for the sight alone or 5.7 oz with its 1.63 in lower 1/3 co-witness mount fitted. The dot is a 540nm green LED with 10 daylight settings and 2 for night vision, adjustment is 0.5 MOA per click over ±50 MOA of travel, and a CR2032 runs it for up to 50,000 hours with Shake Awake sleeping the sight when it is still.
Green is easier for most eyes to pick up than red at the same output, which tells in woodland, against hedgerow and on dark ground. The X2 optical system also cuts parallax by up to 50% against the previous generation. Be aware that this is the plain-dot model: there is no circle, no reticle switching and no solar cell, and if you want those the other AEMS variants carry them.
