The EOTech Vudu 3-9x32 in Tan, part number VDU3-9MR5TAN, is the second focal plane version of EOTech's compact hunting and target scope, carrying the MIL-based MR5 reticle.
Six point eight inches long and sixteen ounces on the scales, this is a 3-9x that does not dominate the rifle it sits on — short enough to leave rail behind it and light enough not to change how a sporter handles.
EOTech build the Vudu line in Japan. This variant is finished in tan, the reticle sits in the second focal plane so it holds one apparent size through the magnification range, and illumination runs from a CR2032 cell. Field of view is 38 ft at 3x and 12.7 ft at 9x, measured at 100 yards.
It suits deer stalking, general hunting and target work where the ranges are mixed and the shooter thinks in milliradians, because the MR5's subtensions are MIL-based. Two things we will not state, because EOTech do not publish them for this model: the main tube diameter and the turret click value.
