The EOTech Vudu 3-9x32 package, VDU3-9PKG2, puts two sights on one rifle: the second focal plane Vudu 3-9x32 with the MD6 MOA reticle, and an EFLX red dot supplied on EOTech's Vudu ring mount.
Magnification is wonderful until a target appears at fifteen yards. The second sight is the answer to that, and buying the two together means the mount is already in the box.
The scope is a 3-9x32 with the reticle in the second focal plane, so the MD6 subtensions are true at the magnification EOTech specify rather than at every setting. EOTech give the scope as 6.8 in (172.7 mm) long and 16 oz (454 g), and it is made in Japan. The bundled EFLX runs from a CR2032 cell and rides on the ring mount, which can be set at 12 o'clock above the scope or rolled to 45 degrees.
Set the dot at 45 degrees and a small roll of the rifle brings it into the eye while the scope keeps its zero untouched; set it at 12 o'clock and it becomes a backup above the tube. Either way the magnified optic no longer has to cover close targets it was never designed for. The scope is a 32 mm objective, so it is compact and light rather than a low-light specialist, and EOTech do not publish click values or a total adjustment range for it, so we do not quote either.

What the Vudu 3-9x32 MD6 package fits
