The EOTech Vudu 1-10x28 with the SR5 reticle is a first-focal-plane low power variable optic on a 34mm tube, with a 28 mm objective and milliradian holdovers that stay true at every magnification.
A ten-times erector is what makes one scope do two jobs: wound down it behaves like a dot for close work, wound up it is a 10x optic you can range and hold with.
Because the reticle sits in the first focal plane it grows and shrinks with the image, so a subtension read at 4x means the same thing at 9x. The tube is 34mm aircraft aluminium, the glass is EOTech's XC high-density type, elevation locks and windage is capped. The scope measures 10.63 in (270 mm) and weighs 21.3 oz (603 g), it is waterproof, fogproof and shock-resistant, and it is made in Japan.
This is the MRAD half of the range, for shooters who think in mils and want turret units and reticle units to agree. Field of view is 116.6 ft at 1x and 11.7 ft at 10x measured at 100 yards. Two practical notes: a 34mm tube needs 34mm rings or a cantilever, which is a separate purchase, and at 21.3 oz this is a substantial optic — a lighter 1-6x is the honest answer if weight is the priority.

What the Vudu 1-10x28 SR5 fits
It needs a 34mm mount or cantilever, which is not included, and suits AR-pattern and straight-pull rifles with enough rail to set eye relief properly. If you would rather hold in minutes of angle, the Vudu 1-10x28 with the SR4 MOA reticle is the same scope in MOA, and the SR5 version in Tan matches tan furniture.
