EOTech G45 5x Magnifier No Mount Black

The EOTech G45 in black, SKU G45.NM, is a 5x magnifier supplied as the optic on its own, with no mount in the box.

If the mount is already on the rifle, paying for a second one is money burnt. This is the version for shooters who have the base sorted and only want the glass.

It is the highest magnification EOTech puts behind a holographic sight. The body is 3.9 in long and 9.5 oz (269.3 g) on its own, with 2.6 in (66 mm) of eye relief, a 4 degree field of view and tool-free vertical and horizontal adjustment alongside an adjustable dioptre. EOTech rates it to 33 ft (10 m) of immersion and assembles it in the USA.

Behind an EOTech holographic sight it turns a close-range picture into an identification picture at distance, which is what most vermin control and longer service-rifle work actually needs. Two things to be clear about: the G45 has no reticle of its own and magnifies whatever sight sits in front of it, and because no mount is supplied here you need a Switch-to-Side or third-party base before it will do anything at all.

What the G45 fits

Any magnifier mount cut for the G-series body — a Switch-to-Side base, a flip-to-side mount or a fixed offset base you already own.
