The EOTech EXPS3-DCRTAN is a 1x holographic weapon sight in a Tan housing, built around EOTech’s Danger Close Reticle rather than the usual ring-and-dot.
The DCR is a 68 MOA ring with the top of it cut away and a chevron underneath, which gives you something to aim with instead of a dot that has to be found first.
The housing carries a Tan finish and an integrated quick-detach lever that clamps to a 1in Weaver or MIL-STD-1913 rail, and it is waterproof to 10 m (33 ft). A single CR123 lithium cell sits in the body, the sight weighs 11.2 oz, and it is made in the USA.
EOTech quotes the chevron as good out to 200 yd from a 50 yd zero, so the reticle itself carries the holdover that a plain dot leaves to guesswork. Twenty daylight settings cover a bright range day, and ten night-vision settings dim it far enough to sit behind a night vision device. Turrets move 0.5 MOA per click in windage and elevation. EOTech does not publish a total adjustment range for the sight, so it is not quoted here.
