The EOTech EXPS3-2 is a compact 1x holographic weapon sight in black, carrying EOTech's 68 MOA ring with a two-dot aiming pattern inside it.
The second dot is the point of this model: it gives a lower hold reference for shots past the distance the main aiming point is zeroed at, without cluttering the window or asking anything of the shooter at close range.
The sight is powered by a single CR123 lithium cell and weighs 11.2 oz. Windage and elevation move in 0.5 MOA increments, brightness runs to 20 daylight settings with a further 10 for use behind night vision, and the housing is submersible to 10 m (33 ft). It clamps to a Picatinny rail through an integrated quick-detach lever, and it is made in the USA.
Both-eyes-open shooting is what a holographic sight is for, and the EXPS3-2 keeps its buttons on the left side of the body rather than the rear, so a flip-to-side magnifier can sit hard up behind it. Worth knowing before you buy: this is a 1x sight with no magnification of its own, the reticle is red only, and a CR123 is a shorter-lived power source than the coin cells used by many micro dots.

What the EXPS3-2 fits
Any MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail with room for the QD lever, which covers AR-pattern flat-tops, straight-pull carbines and rail-fitted shotguns.
