Will this Competitive single-stage fit my AR?

It drops into AR-15 and M4 pattern lower receivers that use mil-spec trigger pins. Check your pin size first, particularly on a mixed-parts build, as large-pin receivers will not take it. Fitting is a straightforward pin swap with no receiver modification.

Why a fixed 3 lb (1.4 kg) pull rather than an adjustable one?

A fixed weight means the trigger arrives set and stays there, which is one less thing to check before a match or a range session. Three pounds is a well-judged competition weight: light enough for fast, accurate work but not so light that it feels twitchy. Combined with TriggerTech's Frictionless Release roller sear, the break has no perceptible creep.

What does the Competitive tier give me over the entry models?

The Competitive sits in the middle of the TriggerTech line: same frictionless mechanism, tuned to a set competition weight rather than offering a wide adjustment range. If you want to dial the weight yourself, an Adaptable or Diamond model is the one to look at. If you know you want 3 lb (1.4 kg) and want it to stay there, this is simpler.

Does the Blue/Black finish differ from the other colours?
