Will this Adaptable Two-Stage drop into my AR-15 lower?

It is designed as a drop-in unit for AR-15/M4 pattern lower receivers running mil-spec trigger pins, so it replaces the standard fire control group without permanent alteration to the receiver. The one thing worth confirming first is pin size, as some lowers are cut for large pins rather than mil-spec. Check your receiver's specification before ordering if you are not sure which yours uses.

What does the 2.5-5.0 lb (1.1–2.3 kg) adjustment range actually give me?

Rather than a single fixed pull weight, the Adaptable lets you set the total weight anywhere between 2.5 lb (1.1 kg) and 5.0 lb (2.3 kg). That is useful if the rifle does more than one job, or if you are still settling on the weight that suits your shooting. Follow the instructions supplied with the trigger for the adjustment procedure and the tool it calls for.

How does the two-stage feel compare with a single-stage trigger?

A two-stage gives you a defined first-stage take-up, a clear wall, and then a short second-stage break, so you can load the trigger and feel the shot coming before you commit. I would rather have a flat shoe - is there an option?
