The SureFire CSM-07 is a compact remote cable switch on an M-LOK rail mount, with a 7 in cable, for SureFire WeaponLights that take a plug.
It puts the switch under the support hand where that hand already sits, instead of asking you to reach back to a tailcap mid-shoulder.
The pressure pad is housed in weatherproof polymer and gives momentary-on under pressure and constant-on from the same switch, with the cable ending in an O-ring sealed plug. The clamp fits straight into an M-LOK slot, so nothing has to be bolted to a Picatinny section first, and the 7 in cable length is chosen to reach a light mounted close to the switch rather than at the far end of a long handguard.
Compatibility is the thing to check before ordering. SureFire lists it for WeaponLights with plug sockets, which covers the Millennium Universal and Classic Universal families, a Scout Light fitted with a socketed tailcap, and an X300 or X400 fitted with an XT tailcap assembly. A light without a socket cannot take it at all.

What the CSM-07 fits
An M-LOK handguard on one end, and on the other a SureFire WeaponLight with a plug socket: Millennium Universal, Classic Universal, a Scout Light with a socketed tailcap, or an X300 or X400 with an XT tailcap assembly.
