The Streamlight TLR-VIR II, part 69192, is a dual-spectrum weapon light in black, combining a 300 lumen white LED with an 850 nm infrared illuminator and an eye-safe Class 1 infrared aiming laser.
It is built for shooters working behind night vision. A three-position selector sets visible, infrared or off, so the two spectrums cannot be confused with a thumb in the dark.
The white LED gives 300 lumens and 5,000 candela for 1.5 hours; the infrared modes run up to 12 hours, with the illuminator rated at a minimum of 600 mW/sr and the laser below 0.8 mW. All of it comes from one CR123A lithium cell. The body is aircraft aluminium with a shock-mounted BOROFLOAT lens, 3.3 in long and 3.82 oz, rated IPX7.
It fits SIG M17 and M18 pistols and any long gun carrying a MIL-STD-1913 rail, using the locating keys in the box. The obvious limitation is that the infrared output is invisible without a night-vision device — without one you are buying a 300 lumen light, which is modest next to the 1000 lumen lights in the same range. Streamlight does not publish a beam distance figure for it.

What the TLR-VIR II fits
It mounts to the SIG M17 and M18, and to long guns with a MIL-STD-1913 rail section, with rail locating keys supplied. If you want visible light only on a pistol, the TLR-8 HL-X G USB pairs 1000 lumens with a green laser, and for a compact pistol the TLR-6 HL G is the small option. The rest sit in weapon lights.
