The Streamlight TLR-8 HL-X G USB (69475) is a compact pistol light with an integrated green aiming laser, supplied with the SL-B9 USB-C rechargeable pack and a USB-C cord.
High candela and a daylight-visible green laser on one mount, so the rail carries a single unit instead of two competing for space.
On the SL-B9 pack the white light gives 1000 lumens, 22,000 candela and a 297 metre beam for thirty minutes, or an hour if programmed down to 500 lumens; on a CR123A lithium cell it runs 500 lumens, 11,000 candela and 210 metres for an hour and a half. The green laser is Class 3R at 510-530 nm with output below 5 mW, and runs for ten hours on its own. The body is anodised machined aluminium, 2.90 in (7.37 cm) long, weighing 3.14 oz (89 g) with the SL-B9 or 3.04 oz (86.2 g) on a CR123A, rated IPX4.
Modes cover white light alone, laser alone, or both together, selected at the switch. Ambidextrous rear paddles are supplied in HIGH and LOW options so the controls can be set to suit the grip and the trigger finger rather than the other way round. Green is the reason to pick this version over the red-laser model: the eye picks green out of a bright background far more readily. Note the IPX4 rating — this is splash resistance, not an immersion rating.
