The SIG Sauer ROMEO5 Gen II is a 1x micro red dot sight with a 20 mm objective and a 2 MOA dot, mounted on SIG's interchangeable I-BEAM mount.
This is the sight a great many AR-pattern and straight-pull builds start with, and the second generation keeps the reasons why: MOTAC motion activation, a parallax-free window with unlimited eye relief, and a housing that survives being used.
The aluminium body is rated IPX-7, shockproof and fogproof, measuring 69.7 mm long by 61.5 mm high and 39.6 mm wide. One CR2032 runs it for 40,000 hours, split across 12 illumination settings with 10 for daylight and 2 for night vision, and MOTAC wakes the dot on movement and shuts it down when the rifle is left alone.
