The SIG Sauer ROMEO5 Gen II Elite, part number SOR5105, is a 1x micro red dot sight with a 20 mm aperture, supplied on a 1.41 in absolute co-witness I-BEAM mount.
Two things separate the Elite from the standard ROMEO5 Gen II: a four-mode Quad Ballistic Circle Dot 2.0 reticle in place of a plain dot, and a single fixed mount height rather than a choice of spacers.
The reticle switches between four configurations, so a plain aiming dot and a circle-dot are both a button press away rather than a purchase decision. Twelve brightness settings split into ten for daylight and two for night vision, managed by SIG's MOTAC, which wakes the sight on movement and shuts it down when it is put away. A CR2032 cell is rated at up to 40,000 hours.
The housing measures 69.7 x 61.5 x 39.6 mm, weighs 5.5 oz (156 g) without its battery and is rated IPX7. At 1.41 in the I-BEAM mount puts the dot at absolute co-witness with AR-height irons, which is the height most Civilian Service Rifle and practical rifle shooters settle on. That height is fixed, though: if you want lower 1/3, this is not the model to buy.
