The Reptilia ROF-SAR is a red dot adapter for the Aimpoint Micro, described by Reptilia as a drop-in upgrade for 30mm optics.
One optic footprint, one tube diameter. The ROF-SAR adds a miniature red dot to the scope you already run.
Machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminium and finished in MIL-STD Type III hardcoat anodising, at 41 g (1.4 oz). It carries the red dot above the scope, so the secondary sight is part of the optic rather than another item competing for space on the receiver rail.
Two sighting solutions, one rifle. The magnified optic keeps the zero you set for distance; the dot is zeroed separately for close work and stays that way. On a UK straight-pull AR-15 that means changing where you look rather than changing optics. Made in the USA.
