The Reptilia ROF-90 is a 12 o'clock red dot mount for the Aimpoint Micro, machined as a drop-in upgrade for 30mm Reptilia AUS and Geissele Super Precision scope mounts.
One ring diameter, one optic footprint. The ROF-90 puts the red dot directly above the scope at 90°, where your eye already is.
Reptilia call it Ring Optic Forward. The ROF-90 sits on the scope-ring cap of a 30mm mount and carries a miniature red dot at the 12 o'clock position rather than hanging it off a separate rail or an offset bracket. That keeps the dot close to the scope's centreline, so moving between magnified and unmagnified is a change of focus rather than a change of position.
It is machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminium and finished in MIL-STD Type III hardcoat anodising, at 25 g (0.9 oz) — the lightest way to add a second sighting system to a scoped rifle. On a UK straight-pull AR-15 or a precision bolt gun it earns its keep at the awkward end of the range card: the scope stays set for the shot you planned, the dot takes the one that appears at 25 m, and each keeps its own zero. Made in the USA.
Why shooters choose the 30mm ROF-90
-
90° mounting point — the dot sits at 12 o'clock directly above the scope, not offset to one side
-
Drop-in upgrade — fits 30mm Reptilia AUS and Geissele Super Precision mounts, with no extra rail or riser
-
Billet 7075-T6 aluminium — hardcoat anodised, just 25 g (0.9 oz) on the rifle
-
One footprint — cut for the Aimpoint Micro pattern and nothing else, so the optic beds flat and the screws land square
-
Independent zero — the red dot keeps a close-range zero while the scope keeps yours
What the 30mm ROF-90 fits
Fits the Aimpoint Micro footprint: Micro R-1, H-1, H-2, T-1, T-2 and CompM5, plus Sig Sauer ROMEO4, ROMEO5 and ROMEO-MSR, Vortex Crossfire, Spitfire and Sparc I & II, Primary Arms Classic Gen II, SLx Microdot and SLx 1x20, and Holosun HS403, HE403, HS503, HE503, HS515, HE515 and HE530. The ROF-90 is a drop-in upgrade for 30mm Reptilia AUS mounts and 30mm Geissele Super Precision mounts only — it is not a Picatinny mount, and it will not fit a scope ring of any other diameter. Ring diameter and optic footprint are both fixed on this listing: 30mm rings, Aimpoint Micro footprint. Neither is adjustable, so check both against your own mount and optic before ordering.
How the ROF-90 and ROF-SAR differ
Reptilia build two mounts for the Aimpoint Micro on 30mm rings, and they work differently. The ROF-90 on this page piggybacks the red dot at 12 o'clock on top of the scope-ring cap, so the host mount keeps its own cap. The 30mm ROF-SAR replaces the ring cap entirely instead of sitting on top of it, which carries the dot lower over the bore. Both take the same optic, so the choice is how high you want the dot to sit.
