A purpose-built bridge that puts a night vision device in line ahead of your day optic — machined for the Magpul Pro 700 chassis.

The Magpul Pro NVM (Night Vision Mount, MAG1001) is a dedicated accessory for the Pro 700 chassis system. It provides a rigid, repeatable forward mounting platform so a clip-on night vision or thermal device sits correctly in line with the day scope, holding alignment under recoil and returning to zero after removal.

Machined from aluminium and designed to bolt directly to the Pro 700 chassis rather than relying on a cantilevered rail extension, it keeps the added mass close to the bore and the optical train straight.

What do I need to already have for this to fit?

The Pro NVM mounts to the Magpul Pro 700 and Pro 700L chassis system and nothing else — it is an accessory for that chassis, not a standalone stock or mount. Confirm you are running a Pro 700-series chassis before ordering. The night vision device and the chassis itself are not included.

What does it actually do?

It gives a clip-on night vision or thermal device a rigid forward mounting platform so it sits correctly in line ahead of your day scope. Getting that optical train straight is the whole job: if the device is not properly aligned, you lose the point of clipping it on at all. The mount holds that alignment under recoil and returns to zero when the device comes off and goes back on.

How is this different from mounting a device on a rail extension?

A cantilevered rail extension hangs the device off the front of an optic rail, which puts mass out at the end of a lever and gives flex somewhere you cannot afford it. The Pro NVM bolts directly to the Pro 700L chassis instead, keeping the added mass close to the bore and the mounting path short and stiff. Is fitting it straightforward?

Yes, if you already have the chassis — the mounting hardware is supplied and it bolts to the chassis at the designated points, with no modification to the rifle or the chassis. Torque the fasteners properly and re-check them after the first outing, as with any mount carrying an optic. Alignment of the device itself is then set the way you would set up any clip-on.
