The Magpul MS4 Dual QD GEN2 is a convertible one-point / two-point rifle sling that attaches to any standard QD sling socket.

One rifle sling, two missions — the MS4 Dual QD GEN2 converts from two-point to one-point in seconds, not minutes.

The Magpul MS4 Dual QD Sling GEN2 (MAG518) is built around two heavy-duty push-button QD sling swivels, letting you reconfigure between patrol-friendly two-point carry and fast-transition one-point carry without re-threading a single strap. The GEN2 hardware upgrade brings a forged, purpose-designed QD swivel that resists bending and unintentional release — the failure points that plague cheaper convertible slings.

The webbing is dense, snag-resistant nylon that slides smoothly through the low-profile slider, so length adjustments happen one-handed and under load. What do I need on my rifle to run this sling?

The MS4 GEN2 attaches with two industry-standard push-button QD swivels, so your rifle needs QD sockets front and rear. Plenty of modern stocks and handguards have them built in, but older furniture often doesn't. If yours has none, add sockets such as the Magpul M-LOK QD Sling Mount (MAG606) or an equivalent rail attachment before ordering.

What makes it a one-point and a two-point sling?

It converts between the two configurations by unclipping one QD swivel, so the same sling covers close work and carrying a rifle for longer periods. Two-point keeps the rifle stable across the body and takes weight off your arms; one-point lets you swap shoulders and move the muzzle freely. The change takes seconds and needs no tools.

How quickly can the length be changed?

There's a one-hand slider that lets you pull the sling tight or dump slack without taking your other hand off the rifle.
