Product Overview

The Magpul M-LOK QD Sling Mount is a quick-detach sling mount that installs directly into any M-LOK slot, with no Picatinny rail required.

A flush-fit QD sling point that disappears into your M-LOK handguard — until you need it.

The Magpul M-LOK QD Sling Mount (MAG606) installs directly into any M-LOK slot and presents an industry-standard QD socket sitting nearly flush with the handguard surface. There is no rail section, no protruding hardware and nothing to snag — just a clean socket, exactly where you want your front sling point, that accepts any push-button QD swivel with positive, anti-rotation lock-up.

Because M-LOK slots run the full length of modern handguards, the MAG606 gives you complete freedom over sling geometry: run it forward for stability-focused two-point carry, bring it rearward to balance a lighter build, or fit two and experiment. It is one of those small parts that quietly improves how the whole rifle carries and handles.

Why shooters choose the MAG606 QD Mount

  • Near-flush QD socket on M-LOK — no rail, no bulk, no snags
  • Anti-rotation lock-up — the swivel stays oriented under load
  • Place your sling point anywhere — full M-LOK freedom
  • Rock-solid torque-down install — will not walk under recoil

What the MAG606 QD Mount fits

Fits any M-LOK slot on a handguard or forend, so no Picatinny rail section is needed. Handguards that are Picatinny-only or use a different slot standard will not take it, so check what your forend actually is before ordering. It installs with the supplied M-LOK hardware in minutes — tighten properly and re-check after the first range trip. Pair it with any standard push-button QD swivel; the Magpul QDM (MAG543) is the natural companion.

Product Questions

Will this fit my handguard?
It fits any M-LOK slot on a handguard or forend, so no Picatinny rail section is needed. If your handguard is M-LOK on the sides and bottom, you can place the mount wherever the sling sits best. Handguards that are Picatinny-only or use a different slot standard will not take it, so check what your forend actually is before ordering.
Why choose an M-LOK sling mount rather than a rail-mounted one?
Because it bolts directly into the slot, it sits flush against the handguard instead of standing off on a rail clamp, which keeps the profile slim and gives less to snag. It also frees up rail space for lights or other accessories. If you are weighing up the two mounting systems, our M-LOK vs Picatinny guide covers the differences.
How does it fit, and what swivels does it take?
M-LOK hardware fits by dropping the T-nut through the slot and rotating it a quarter turn before tightening, so it goes on from the outside of the handguard with basic hand tools. Tighten it properly and re-check after your first range trip, as M-LOK fasteners can settle. The socket accepts industry-standard push-button QD swivels.
What else do I need to run it?
You need a QD swivel plus a sling, since the mount is only the attachment point. It comes in black, and other M-LOK hardware to fill out the handguard can be found in M-LOK accessories. If you are unsure whether your slots are genuine M-LOK, contact us with your handguard make and model.
What is the delivery and returns position?
Small mounting hardware goes out from the United Kingdom with £5 tracked UK delivery in 7–10 business days, and tracking is emailed the moment it ships. If the slot pattern turns out to be wrong for your handguard, see our returns policy or contact us and we'll help sort it.
