Will this forend fit my Mossberg?

The MAG494 is a direct replacement for the factory forend on Mossberg 590 and 590A1 12 gauge shotguns. It is not intended for the 500, which uses a different action bar arrangement, so check which model you have before ordering. If your gun has been modified or you are unsure of the variant, get in touch with the model details.

What do the M-LOK slots let me add?

The forend has M-LOK slots moulded directly into the body, so lights, sling mounts and hand stops can be attached without a bulky rail system hanging off the gun. Accessories bolt straight to the slots using M-LOK hardware, which keeps everything close to the barrel line. If you own Picatinny-mount accessories, you can fit an M-LOK Picatinny rail section rather than replacing them.

What is it made from and how does it fit?

It is a reinforced polymer moulding, so it stays light and is comfortable to hold even after a string of shots has warmed the magazine tube. Fitting is a straightforward swap of the factory forend on the action bars, and no permanent alteration to the shotgun is involved. Work carefully and support the action bars while the forend is off.

Which colours are there, and does it pair with a stock?
