The missing link between your M-LOK handguard and a sling-stud bipod mount — clean, secure and rail-free.

The Magpul M-LOK Bipod Mount for Sling Stud (MAG609) bolts directly into any M-LOK slot and presents a standard sling stud interface, letting you run sling-stud pattern bipods — including Magpul's own MAG1075 — on a modern negative-space handguard without adding a single section of Picatinny rail. It keeps the forend slim, snag-free and light, exactly as M-LOK intended.

Machined lock-up matters on a part that carries the full loaded weight of a rifle, and the MAG609 delivers it: the M-LOK hardware draws the mount hard into the slot for a rigid, repeatable interface that will not walk under recoil or shift when you load the bipod. It is a small, inexpensive part that solves a real compatibility problem properly.

It uses standard M-LOK hardware: the nut goes through the slot, turns a quarter turn and tightens from the outside with ordinary hand tools. Re-check the torque after the first session. You will also need a stud-pattern bipod such as the Magpul Bipod for Sling Stud QD (MAG1075).

What does this mount fit?

It fits M-LOK slots on handguards and forends, giving you a bipod mounting point without needing a rail section. It is designed to pair with Magpul bipods for a direct, rail-free mount. Your forend needs genuine M-LOK slots with room underneath for the mount and the folded bipod legs.

Why use this instead of adding a rail section?

Bolting straight into the M-LOK slot removes the rail adapter from the stack, so the bipod sits closer to the handguard and there is less height and weight added at the muzzle end. It also leaves the rest of your forend free. Fewer joints in the mounting chain generally means less to work loose under recoil.

How is it fitted?

It uses standard M-LOK hardware, so the nut goes through the slot, turns a quarter turn and is tightened from the outside with ordinary hand tools. Tighten to a sensible, even torque and re-check after the first session. There is nothing to adjust once it is on beyond making sure it has not loosened.

What else do I need with it?
