Product Overview

The hunter's rifle bipod — Magpul stability that attaches straight to the sling stud your bolt gun already has.

The Magpul Bipod for Sling Stud QD (MAG1075) is purpose-built for hunting rifles, rimfires and classic sporter-stocked bolt guns that carry a front sling swivel stud rather than a rail. It clamps securely to the stud, bringing hard-anodised 6061 T-6 aluminium construction and Magpul's reinforced polymer to rifles that have never had a serious bipod option without gunsmithing or adapters.

The working parts are identical to the rest of Magpul's bipod family: seven tool-less locking leg positions deployed by feel, and integrated pan and tilt so you can level the crosshair on a hillside and track game without repositioning. For stalking and hide shooting where the rest is never flat and the light is never good, that fast, silent adjustability earns its place on the rifle.

Will this bipod fit my rifle?

It mounts to a standard sling stud, which covers most hunting, bolt-action and precision rifles that came with a stud in the forend. The QD interface means it comes on and off without tools once fitted. If your rifle has an M-LOK forend instead of a stud, you would need an adapter such as the M-LOK Bipod Mount.

How do the legs adjust?

Each leg has seven tool-less positions, so you can set height for prone, a bench or an improvised rest without carrying a key. The legs also stow along the forend when you are not using them. Adjustment is done by hand at the gun, which is the point of the design.

Does it pan and tilt, and what is it made of?

Yes, it pans and tilts, so you can track a target and level the rifle on uneven ground without repositioning the whole setup. The construction is hard-anodised 6061 T-6 aluminium together with reinforced polymer. Keep the pivots clean and free of grit and it needs little else in the way of maintenance.

Which finish should I choose, and do I need anything to fit it?
