The Holosun RONIN HS507COMP in red, part number RONIN-HS507COMP-RD, is a 1x open reflex competition pistol sight on the Trijicon RMR footprint, built in collaboration with Tu Lam of Ronin Tactics.
A competition optic earns its place through the window and the reticle. This one gives you 1.1 x 0.87 in to look through and four ways to aim through it.
Holosun cut the housing from 7075-T6 aluminium and anodize it black, rating it IP67 for water and dust and 5000G for vibration, at 1.7 oz and 1.8 x 1.3 x 1.3 in. A red 650nm Super LED drives the reticle from a CR1632 cell rated to 50,000 hours at setting 6, and Shake Awake sleeps the dot when the pistol is left still. Note that this model has no solar panel, so the cell is the only power source.
The Competition Reticle System puts a 2 MOA dot and 8, 20 and 32 MOA circles on tap, and the point of that is stage-by-stage flexibility: a bare dot when a small plate has to be hit cleanly, a circle when a wide target sequence is decided on the clock. Twelve brightness settings split eight daylight and four night-vision compatible, and adjustment is 1 MOA per click over plus or minus 30 MOA. The Ronin trim is a finish and branding treatment, not a specification change.
