The Holosun RONIN AEMS MAX Green Dot Sight is a 1x enclosed rifle sight with the Multi-Reticle System behind a 1.58 × 1.18 in (40 × 30 mm) window, supplied with a Picatinny mount.
This is the largest window Holosun puts on an enclosed sight, and it is paired with a 540 nm green emitter — the combination the RONIN series exists for.
The body is 7075-T6 aluminium, hard anodised, IPX8 waterproof and rated to 1000G, measuring 3.15 × 1.95 × 2.5 in. The optic weighs 8.2 oz and the supplied Picatinny mount 2.1 oz. A CR2032 loads from a side tray, rated at up to 50,000 hours, with Solar Failsafe taking supplemental power from daylight and Shake Awake sleeping the reticle when the rifle is set down.
The Multi-Reticle System gives a 2 MOA green dot, a 65 MOA circle, or both together, which covers a deliberate shot at distance and a fast close one without changing anything on the rifle. Adjustment is 0.5 MOA per click with ±50 MOA of travel, the sight is parallax-free with unlimited eye relief, and there are eight daylight and four night vision brightness levels. It is a large optic, and at 8.2 oz before the mount it is not the choice for a build where every ounce is being counted.
