The Holosun HE512T is a 1x fully enclosed rifle red dot sight in a Grade 5 titanium housing, with the red Multi-Reticle System — 2 MOA dot, 65 MOA circle, or both — behind a 0.91 x 1.26 in (23 x 32 mm) window on an integrated Picatinny mount.
Titanium is the reason this one exists: the same sealed optic in a housing that shrugs off knocks a thinner alloy body would carry as a dent, without the weight penalty a steel shroud would bring.
The mount is built into the body at 1.41 in (35.8 mm), which is absolute co-witness height, so AR-height iron sights line up through the middle of the window rather than the bottom third of it. A side-tray CR2032 is rated up to 50,000 hours at setting 6, with Solar Failsafe supplementing it in daylight and Shake Awake sleeping the reticle when the rifle is still. Adjustment is 0.5 MOA per click with 50 MOA each way, the emitter is a 650 nm red LED, and the sight is rated IPX8 and 1000G vibration at 9.17 oz (260 g).
On an open reflex sight, water running down the glass or mud off a wet firing point sits directly in front of the emitter and smears the reticle. Here the LED is sealed inside the housing, so the dot stays clean in weather that puts an open optic out of action. In return it is a heavier sight than an open micro at 3.35 x 1.63 x 1.7 in, and the fixed 1.41 in height cannot be changed — if you want lower 1/3, a different sight is the answer.

What the HE512T fits
