The Holosun HE507-PROMAX-GR-PRS is an open reflex competition pistol sight on the Trijicon RMR footprint, running the green Performance Reticle System behind a 1.18 x 0.98 in window.
A large window, a forward-leaning integrated sunshade and a reticle that opens from a 2 MOA dot to an 8, 20 or 32 MOA circle. This one is built around a stage clock rather than a spec sheet.
The housing is 7075 T6 aluminium, hard anodised, rated IP67 against water and dust and tested to 5000G, measuring 1.8 x 1.4 x 1.38 in and weighing 1.7 oz. A CR1632 loads from a tray in the side, so the cell changes without unbolting the optic, and Holosun rate it at up to 100,000 hours at setting six with Solar Failsafe adding daylight power. Shake Awake sleeps the reticle between strings and a lockout mode stops the settings being nudged. Windage and elevation move 1 MOA per click with 30 MOA of travel each way, across eight daylight and four night-vision settings.
The eye reads green as brighter than red at the same output, which is why competitors reach for it on a sunlit range, and the forward-leaning shade is there to keep that brightness usable when the sun is behind the target rather than behind you. Being able to shoot a fine 2 MOA dot on a precision stage and then open the reticle to a 32 MOA circle for close, fast work is the argument for the Performance Reticle System over a fixed dot. The limitation is footprint: this is an RMR-pattern optic, so a slide cut for RMSc will not take it.
