The Holosun EPS Carry Gold Dot, EPS-CARRY-GD-2, is a 1x fully enclosed pistol sight with a fixed 2 MOA gold dot, built on Holosun's native K footprint.
A sealed window is the one thing an open reflex cannot offer. Dust, lint, rain and propellant residue never reach the LED, which is the failure that actually strands open-emitter pistol optics.
The housing is 7075-T6 aluminium at 1.23 oz, measuring 1.63 x 1.07 x 0.95 in, rated IPX8 for immersion and tested to 5000G. A CR1620 cell loads from a tray in the side, so the sight stays bolted down and zeroed while the battery is changed, and it is rated at 50,000 hours at setting 6 with Shake Awake helping it get there.
Gold is the reason to pick this one over the red: many shooters with astigmatism resolve a gold dot more cleanly, and 2 MOA keeps the aiming point small enough for deliberate work. Adjustment is 1.5 MOA per click with plus or minus 30 MOA of travel, and there are 12 brightness settings, eight for daylight and four for night vision. One point of accuracy: the optic is cut for the K footprint natively, and the RMSc-to-K adapter plate in the box is what makes RMSc-cut slides work.
