The EOTech XPS2-2 is a 1x holographic weapon sight in black, showing a 68 MOA ring with two stacked 1 MOA dots inside it and clamping to a 1in Weaver or Picatinny rail on a cross-bolt.
Two dots means two zeroes without touching a turret. The top dot is your primary aiming point and the one below it is a permanent holdover mark, already in the window when the target is further out than the zero distance.
Adjustment is 0.5 MOA per click in windage and elevation. Illumination covers 20 daylight brightness settings, drawn from a single CR123 cell that EOTech rates at up to 1,000 hours. The sight is waterproof to 10 ft (3 m) and made in the USA, and the short transverse battery housing is what keeps the whole unit clear of the rail behind it.
On a short receiver or a shotgun with limited rail, the XPS body frees space that a longer sight would eat, which leaves room for a magnifier or a rear iron. The trade against the EXPS variants is the mount: this one uses a cross-bolt clamp and a coin or a screwdriver rather than a lever, so it is not a sight you take off between stages. There are also no night-vision settings here; the XPS3-2 is the version that adds them.
