The EOTech PRS 2 is a one-piece cantilever rifle scope mount, and this is part number MN2016, the 34mm ring version of the 2in cantilever base.
The two inches of cantilever are the whole idea: the scope is carried forward over the handguard so the eyepiece lands where your head naturally sits on the stock, instead of you shuffling backwards to find the eye box.
It is machined in one piece from aircraft-grade aluminium and clamps to a 1in Weaver or MIL-STD-1913 rail with an adjustable locking quick-detach lever, so tension can be set for the rail it lives on and the mount comes off without tools. EOTech give the height as 2.9 in and the weight as 11.2 oz (317.5 g), and the mount is made in the USA.
It suits a straight-pull or lever-release carbine, a Civilian Service Rifle build or any long-range rifle carrying a large-tube scope, where the objective and turret housing of a 34mm optic needs the extra clearance a cantilever gives. Two honest points: it is cut for a 34mm tube only, so a 30mm scope wants the other version, and EOTech do not publish a finish specification for this mount, so we do not quote one.
