The EOTech PRS 2 is a one-piece cantilever rifle scope mount for a 30 mm tube, clamping to a Picatinny rail on an adjustable, locking quick-detach lever.
A cantilever carries the scope forward of the receiver, which is the whole reason it exists on an AR-pattern rifle. The eyepiece meets your head where your head already is, rather than making you crawl up the stock to find it.
The rings take a 30 mm tube and the base is cut for MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny. EOTech fit an adjustable, locking quick-detach lever, so the clamping force can be set to the rail once and then locked, and the scope comes on and off without a hex key afterwards. EOTech do not publish a material or a finish for this mount, so we do not quote one.
It is the sensible pairing for a 30 mm EOTech Vudu, which is what EOTech design it around — they describe it as compatible with most of the Vudu riflescope line. Where it earns its keep is a rifle that shares an optic between hosts, or one that has to come apart for transport, because the lever means the scope leaves the rail without tools and goes back the same way. If your scope has a 34 mm tube this is the wrong mount; the rings will not close on it.
