The EOTech HHS VIII is a Holographic Hybrid Sight System: one part number covering an EXPS3-0 holographic weapon sight and a G33 3x magnifier, bought as a set rather than as two separate optics.
This is the single-dot member of the family. Inside the 68 MOA ring there is one 1 MOA aiming point and nothing else, with 3x folded away on a flip-to-side mount until something at distance needs identifying.
The EXPS3-0 draws its red reticle at 1x and takes its power from a CR123 lithium cell.
