The EOTech G33 is a fixed 3x magnifier, sold here in black on EOTech's Switch-to-Side (STS) quick-detach mount.
A magnifier has no reticle and no zero of its own; it simply enlarges whatever the sight in front of it is already showing, which is why the mount matters more than the glass on most rifles.
The STS mount clamps to a 1in Weaver or MIL-STD-1913 rail and pivots the body out to the side, so 1x comes back without unclipping anything or disturbing the sight ahead of it. Adjustment for windage and elevation is tool-free, and the fast-focus dioptre sharpens the image for your eye. EOTech gives the eye relief as 2.2 in (55.9 mm), the field of view as 7.3 degrees, the length as 4 in (102 mm) and the weight as 10.6 oz (301 g) on the STS mount, or 7.8 oz (221.1 g) for the magnifier on its own. It is waterproof to 33 ft (10 m) and assembled in the USA.
It is the obvious partner for a holographic sight on a straight-pull AR or a service rifle, where a target at 200 or 300 yards needs identifying rather than just hitting. Worth knowing before you buy: 2.2in of eye relief is short, so the magnifier has to sit close to the eye and the rail behind the sight needs to be long enough to place it there.

What the G33 fits
Fit it behind a holographic or red dot sight on a Picatinny or 1in Weaver rail with enough length left to set the eye relief. In tan, the same package is the G33 with STS mount in tan, and if you already own a mount the G33 with no mount is the bare magnifier. Everything else sits in red dot magnifiers and straight-pull rifle optics.
