The EOTech G33 is a 3x magnifier for use behind a holographic or red dot sight, and this part number, G33.NM, is the optic on its own with no mount in the box.
Buying it bare is the sensible route if the mount you want is already on the rifle or already chosen: you pay for glass rather than for a second mount that goes in a drawer.
EOTech quotes 7.8 oz (221.1 g) for the magnifier without a mount and 4 in (102 mm) of length, with roughly 2.2 in (55.9 mm) of eye relief, a 7.3 degree field of view and a 7.6 mm exit pupil. Windage and elevation are adjustable so the magnified image can be brought onto the sight's reticle, the finish is black, and the housing is rated to a depth of 33 ft (10 m).
A magnifier has no reticle of its own; it enlarges whatever the sight in front of it is projecting, which is what turns a 1x dot into something usable for identifying a target at distance. Two honest limits: with no mount supplied, this will not fit a rifle until you have one, and 3x magnification also magnifies the dot, so a coarse reticle looks coarser through it.
