Product Overview

The BCM KAG is a low-profile angled foregrip for AR-15 and M4 rifles, clamping directly to any 1913 Picatinny rail section.

The angled foregrip that teaches your support hand where to live — this is the direct-mount Picatinny version.

The BCM KAG — Kinesthetic Angled Grip — was developed in collaboration with Travis Haley of Haley Strategic Partners, and it uses a biomechanically efficient forward rake to create an interface for positive retention and joint relief to the wrist, elbow and shoulder. The rake suits the C-clamp hold most shooters now use on a free-float handguard, and the body also works as a rest against a barricade or a bag in supported positions.

The angle does its work without significantly increasing the bulk of the handguard, and the front and back faces are textured so the hand engages the same way every time. Attachment is Bravo Company USA's patent-pending direct-mount system, which spreads clamping force through the accessory rather than concentrating it at one fastener. Made in the USA from high-quality impact-resistant polymers.

Why shooters choose the KAG

  • Direct 1913 Picatinny mount — no adapter, no separate rail clamp
  • Biomechanical forward rake — joint relief at wrist, elbow and shoulder
  • Textured front and back — the hand indexes identically every mount
  • Low bulk — wrist relief without thickening the handguard
  • Two finishes — Black or Flat Dark Earth

What the KAG fits

Clamps directly to any 1913 Picatinny rail section, so it will go onto a quad rail or onto a short rail ladder fitted to a free-float tube. It will not fit an M-LOK or KeyMod handguard without a rail section — if your handguard is M-LOK, buy the M-LOK version of the KAG instead, which attaches straight to the slots. Fitting needs a T15 Torx driver, sold separately, torqued to approximately 18–20 in-lb (2.0–2.3 Nm) plus a quarter turn. Set it where your support hand naturally falls when the rifle is shouldered, then re-check the hardware after the first outing. Support-hand position matters as much on a UK straight-pull AR-15 as on anything else, and arguably more, since the hand comes off the handguard for every cycle and has to find the same place again.

Product Questions

What handguards will this KAG mount to?
This is the 1913 Picatinny version, so it clamps directly to any Picatinny rail section — a quad rail, or a short rail ladder fitted to a free-float tube. It will not fit an M-LOK or KeyMod handguard without adding a rail section first. If your handguard is M-LOK, the M-LOK version of the KAG attaches straight to the slots and is the one to buy.
What is the point of a stubby angled grip rather than a vertical foregrip?
The KAG is short and raked forward, designed to index your support hand rather than to be gripped like a handle. Bravo Company USA developed it with Travis Haley of Haley Strategic Partners around joint relief at the wrist, elbow and shoulder, and it gives you something positive to pull back against for recoil control while keeping the rifle slim. Shooters using a thumb-over-bore or C-clamp hold usually get on with it better than with a tall vertical grip.
How do I fit it and what torque should I use?
You need a T15 Torx driver, which is not included. Bravo Company USA specifies approximately 18–20 in-lb (2.0–2.3 Nm) plus a quarter turn. Position is personal: mount it where your support hand naturally falls when the rifle is shouldered, shoot a few strings, then move it a slot forward or back if needed and re-check the fastener.
Can it be used as a rest?
Yes — Bravo Company USA lists that as one of its uses. The body gives you a defined edge to load against a barricade, a bag or a wall in supported positions, which is a real advantage over a bare handguard. It is a secondary benefit rather than the reason to buy it, but it is a genuine one.
How quickly does it ship and can I return it?
Grips are dispatched from the United Kingdom with free tracked UK delivery in 7–10 days, and tracking is emailed to you on despatch. If it turns out not to suit your handguard or your hold, see our returns policy or contact us and we'll help sort it.
