The BCM Gunfighter Mod 1 SOPMOD Compartment Stock is a collapsible carbine stock with onboard storage for AR-15 and M4 rifles, fitting any Mil-Spec-diameter carbine receiver extension.

The BCM Gunfighter Mod 1 SOPMOD Compartment Stock combines the wide SOPMOD cheek weld with onboard storage, two QD sling sockets and Bravo Company USA's VBOST tab — a sling-retention detail that keeps a bungeed sling managed and ready. Moulded from glass-filled nylon polymer at approximately 7.0 oz (200 g), it is markedly lighter than legacy SOPMOD designs while giving up nothing in weld quality.

The fit on a Mil-Spec extension is snug and rattle-free, the profile stays clean under a sling, and the storage keeps optic batteries where they cannot be forgotten. This is the thinking shooter's SOPMOD.

What the Mod 1 Compartment Stock fits

Which buffer tubes does the Mod 1 SOPMOD fit?

It slides onto AR-15/M4 rifles fitted with a Mil-Spec-diameter carbine receiver extension. Commercial-diameter tubes are slightly larger and will not accept it, so check what is on your rifle before ordering. If you are not sure which you have, measure the tube or contact us with your rifle's make and model.

What can I actually store in the compartment?

The toe of the stock has a sealed storage compartment, intended for small items such as batteries, a spare bolt part or earplugs. Because it is sealed it keeps damp and grit out on wet range days. It is a modest space rather than a full spares kit, so treat it as a place for the couple of things you would hate to lose.

How does it compare with the plain Gunfighter stocks in the range?

The Mod 1 uses the widebody SOPMOD cheek profile for a fuller cheek weld and adds the storage compartment, which the simpler Gunfighter stocks do not have. It is moulded from glass-filled nylon polymer and weighs around 7.0 oz (200 g), so the extra features do not add much mass. For sling work it carries two QD sockets plus a VBOST tab.

Do I need anything else to run it?

Only a Mil-Spec carbine buffer tube, which most AR-15 builds already have. If you want to use the QD sockets you will need QD sling swivels and a sling to suit. Both colours, Black and Flat Dark Earth, are the same stock, so pick whichever matches your furniture; if you also need the tube and buffer, the complete Mod 1 kit bundles them.
