The Streamlight TLR-2 HL, part 69261, is a full-size rail-mounted handgun light with an integrated red aiming laser, in black.
The mode selector is the reason to choose a TLR-2 over a TLR-1: white light, laser, or both together, picked with a switch on the body rather than by buying a second light.
White output is 1000 lumens and 20,000 candela for a 283 metre beam. Runtime is 1.5 hours with light and laser running together and up to 45 hours on the laser alone. The laser is red at 640-660 nm, Class 3R, under 5 mW. Two CR123A lithium cells are supplied. The body is 6000-series aluminium, black anodised and rated IPX4, measuring 3.39 in (8.61 cm) and 4.88 oz (138.4 g).
It clamps on tool-free with the rail locating keys in the box, and Streamlight lists it for GLOCK Gen 4 and Gen 5, MIL-STD-1913, S&W 99/TSW, Beretta 90-TWO and SIG SAUER P320 XCarry. An ambidextrous paddle gives momentary and constant-on operation, with a user-programmable strobe. The limitation is size: this is the full-size body, so on a compact frame it will sit past the muzzle, and IPX4 covers splashes rather than submersion.
