The Streamlight TLR-1s is the strobe-equipped version of the full-size TLR-1 pistol light, producing 300 lumens from two CR123A lithium cells.
The s on the end is a double tap: two presses of the paddle inside 0.4 seconds and the beam goes to strobe, without adding a second control to learn.
Streamlight rates the beam at 12,000 candela for 219 metres, with 2.5 hours of runtime. The body is machined from 6000-series aluminium and anodised, the lens is BOROFLOAT glass and the light is rated IPX7. It measures 3.39 in and weighs 4.18 oz (118.5 g), and the rail-grip clamp tightens and releases in seconds without tools and without reaching across the muzzle.
Rail keys in the box cover GLOCK-style, MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny, Beretta 90two, S&W SW99 and S&W TSW patterns, and the ambidextrous paddle gives momentary and constant-on from either side.
