The cable is the point of the design. It has no hard edges to snag, it cannot rattle against the handguard the way a steel loop does, and the coating keeps it quiet against kit. The body is billet 7075-T6 aluminium finished in MIL-STD Type III, Class 2 hardcoat anodise, and it mounts flush into a standard M-LOK slot.
