Product Overview

The Reptilia Bubble Level is an offset anti-cant level for the AUS Mount System, bolting to the body of a Reptilia AUS scope mount to show whether the rifle is upright before the shot breaks.

Cant is the error nobody sees. At 600 m a few degrees of tilt is a miss you will blame on the wind.

Reptilia designed it as part of the AUS Mount System, to keep the scope aligned and stop the rifle tilting to one side. It is reversible, so it can be fitted on the left or the right of the mount to suit which eye you use and which side you want it in your peripheral vision. It is machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminium in MIL-STD Type III hardcoat anodising.

Rifle cant matters more the further you shoot: tilt the rifle and the scope's elevation no longer works straight up, so a dialled come-up throws the shot sideways as well as short. A level in the corner of your vision turns that from an invisible error into a thing you can correct. Made in the USA.

Why shooters choose the Offset Bubble Level

  • Fits the AUS Mount body — bolts to a Reptilia AUS scope mount, keeping the level and the scope on one assembly
  • Reversible — fits the left or the right side of the mount
  • Offset position — sits in peripheral vision rather than in the sight picture
  • Billet 7075-T6 aluminium — MIL-STD Type III hardcoat anodised, in Black Anodized
  • Catches the invisible error — cant costs you more the further you shoot, and it is not visible through the scope

What the Offset Bubble Level fits

Fits the body of a Reptilia AUS scope mount and is reversible for the left or the right side. It is an accessory for the AUS Mount System and does not attach to a Picatinny rail on its own, so you need an AUS mount on the rifle first — the range runs from 30mm at 1.54in through to 34mm at 1.93in. It is not compatible with the AGS mount or with scope mounts from other makers.

Compatibility & Fitment

Fits the body of a Reptilia AUS scope mount, left or right side. Not a standalone accessory — it does not attach to a Picatinny rail and requires an AUS mount on the rifle. Not compatible with the Reptilia AGS mount or with other makers' scope mounts.

Please confirm platform, interface and fitment requirements before ordering.

Product Questions

Can I fit it to any scope mount?
No. It is machined to bolt onto the body of a Reptilia AUS scope mount, which has mounting locations for it. It does not clamp to a Picatinny rail and it will not fit a mount from another maker, or Reptilia's own AGS mount. If you are not running an AUS mount, this is not the level for your rifle.
Left side or right side?
Either — it is reversible. Most shooters put it on the side their aiming eye can catch without moving their head, which for a right-handed shooter usually means the left of the scope. Decide before you fit it, since swapping sides means unbolting it.
Does cant really matter?
It matters in proportion to distance and to how much elevation you have dialled. Tilt the rifle and the scope's elevation adjustment no longer acts straight up, so a come-up for distance pushes the shot sideways as well. At short range it is negligible; at long range it is one of the errors most often mistaken for wind.
Is it visible while you are shooting?
That is the point of the offset position: the level sits out to the side of the scope where you can glance at it, rather than in the sight picture where it would distract. You check it as part of settling into the shot, not while you are tracking the target.
How will it arrive?
Optic mounts are sent from the United Kingdom with free tracked UK delivery in 7–10 days, and you'll get tracking by email when it ships. If a part turns out to be the wrong fit, see our returns policy or contact us and we'll help sort it.
