The Mission First Tactical Battlelink Aluminum Minimalist Stock (BMSMIL-MTL-BL) machines its skeletal frame from 6061-T6 aluminium with a hard-coat anodised finish — a genuine metal stock at approximately 8.8 oz (250 g). Where polymer minimalist stocks trade rigidity for weight, the Battlelink's aluminium structure stays dead stiff under cheek pressure and recoil, giving a surprisingly stable weld from a stock this light and open.

Will the Battlelink Aluminum fit my carbine?

It is made for AR-15/M4 rifles with a Mil-Spec-diameter carbine receiver extension, quoted at 1.148 in (29.2 mm), and slides straight on in place of an existing collapsible buttstock. Commercial-diameter tubes will not take it. Measure your tube if you are not certain which type is fitted.

Why choose an aluminium minimalist stock over a polymer one?

The body is machined from 6061-T6 aluminium and hard-coat anodised, so it is more rigid and more abrasion-resistant than a moulded stock while staying minimalist in profile at roughly 8.8 oz (250 g). The trade-off is that a skeletonised metal stock gives less cheek surface and is colder to the face than polymer. It suits builds where a slim, hard-wearing stock matters more than a broad cheek weld.

What sling attachment does it offer?

There are rear sling slots for webbing plus QD points, so you can run a traditional loop or a quick-detach swivel depending on how you carry the rifle. Swivels and slings are not included. If you are running a two-point sling with a forward mount, match the rear QD to whatever swivel you already use.

Is there more than one finish, and what else do I need?
