The Magpul MOE M-LOK Forend for Remington 870 (MAG496) replaces the factory corn-cob with a modern, hand-filling pump handle carrying integrated M-LOK slots. That means weapon lights, hand stops and sling mounts attach directly to the forend — no clamps, no barrel-band bodges — exactly where a defensive shotgun needs them.

The extended length and aggressive front and rear hand stops keep your pump hand planted through fast strings, while the reinforced polymer shell shrugs off impacts and weather. It is the single most functional upgrade available for a working 870.

Will this forend fit my shotgun?

It is a direct replacement for the factory forend on Remington 870 12 gauge shotguns, so it fits the standard action bar assembly. It is not intended for 20 gauge 870s or other pump models. If you are unsure which variant you have, contact us with the model details before ordering.

What do the M-LOK slots let me add?

The MAG496 has M-LOK slots moulded into the forend, so lights, sling mounts and similar accessories bolt straight to it without needing a rail clamp. That keeps the profile slim compared with bolting a rail section on. Anything you fit needs to clear your support hand and the pump stroke, so plan placement before drilling in.

What is it made of and what does fitting involve?
